This is the perfect apartment for a family of 3-5 looking for a spacious, well-equipped, modern home with beautiful, enclosed, and safe gardens, stunning pools, private parking, and easy access to everything, including the Raquetas de Mijas padel club! The apartment features air conditioning throughout, fast Wi-Fi internet, a fully equipped kitchen, utility room with washer and dryer, and two spacious terraces to enjoy open-air dining! The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: The master bedroom offers garden and pool views and access to the enclosed balcony with glass curtains, making it usable year-round. The second bedroom has two single beds and one pull-out single bed with direct access to the second balcony. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, as is the lounge. Additionally, there is a private garage parking space with lift access to the apartment floor. You’ll also have access to communal gardens and swimming pools, but please remember to follow the community rules. You’ll have full access to the entire apartment during your stay. You can also use the private parking space in the garage, and communal gardens and pools are available for your enjoyment. We are local and available to help with any issues you might encounter. We do reserve the right to check on our property if necessary, but we’ll always strive to leave you in complete peace throughout your stay. La Cala Hills is located halfway between the popular towns of Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, both just a 10-minute drive away. A bus route is located just 2 minutes' walk from the apartment, with cafés, restaurants, and small shops within walking distance. We do recommend having a hire car to make the most of the area. The airport is just 30 minutes' drive away. The electric train runs between Málaga city centre and Fuengirola, which can be reached by bus or a short 10-minute drive—a convenient and efficient way to explore the coast without worrying about parking in the larger coastal towns. Two balconies offer outdoor space: One is open-air, accessed from both the lounge and the second bedroom. The larger balcony is enclosed in glass curtains, featuring a dining table for meals, a comfortable modern sofa lounge area, and views of the gardens and pool area. This property is packed with great design features and technology and offers stunning sea views from the sleek kitchen island. The spacious private terrace, which faces due South, has views to the Mediterranean and benefits from all day sunshine. The outside area offers ample room for al-fresco dining in the shade and lounging in the sun and even includes a private plunge pool to take the edge off the sizzling summer sun. There are two communal swimming pools, one of which is heated, plus a gym. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people in a beautifully furnished, modern apartment built in 2020. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and is a bright room with double bed, flat screen TV and built in wardrobes. The second bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom, flat screen TV, built in wardrobes and access out to the terrace area. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the lounge area suitable for one with a big flat screen TV, fast Wi-Fi and open plan kitchen with island design and all the equipment you would need for a self catering holiday. The terrace area is spacious, with outdoor dining table, two private sunbeds and of course the private plunge swimming pool which is just perfect for an evening dip with the Mediterranean as your backdrop. Note that the private pool reference, relates to the plunge pool. The larger, outdoor pools in the garden areas are communal and shared with other residents and guests. There are also sunbeds available around the communal pools. You have full access and sole use of the apartment and terrace area for the duration of your trip. You can access the building community facilities like the gym and pools, free of charge. The main swimming pool is open as of 12th June 2024 and hours are 09.00h to 19.00h. You have the garage parking space which is private and free. You can go to the restaurants, shops and other complex facilities but note that these are not free or included. We are available online and have local maintenance and cleaners who can help make sure you have a comfortable stay, but try to leave you alone to enjoy a quiet, relaxing and private holiday. The apartment is set on a holiday complex in between la Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola. The apartment community itself has lots of facilities you can use, but the resort also has restaurants, childrens' play park and another gymnasium all of which you can use (the gym on the resort is NOT free). There are also a couple of shops on the resort. The main bus route between Fuengirola and la Cala/Marbella is 10 minutes walk away or you can drive into either popular coastal town in 5 minutes. There are LOTS of fantastic excursions, experiences, sights to see and entertainment for all ages in Málaga nearby and the area is busy year round. There is a hop on/off bus/road train which goes around the resort, you can jump on and off for free to get to the small shops/bakery/restaurants/beach/public transit/taxis etc. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach. We do recommend a car to get around easier during your stay. It's not 100% necessary but will allow you MUCH more freedom to get around and makes shopping trips much easier. In addition to the private garage parking space for a car, there is ample on street parking. Our pool maintenance man needs access to the apartment once per week to maintain the plunge pool. If you are only staying 7 nights or less, it's likely this can be tied in to your arrival and departure dates so you won't be disturbed.
